Executive Summary #
This requirements document identifies the product’s market opportunity: A Disciplined Agile Browser. The executive team can review this information to determine if the DA Browser is viable.
The Disciplined Agile Browser, or DA Browser, allows users to choose and review process goals and options for their projects. The DA Browser enables students to utilize the process goals and options during their secular and academic journey.
Vision #
Disciplined Agile allows companies to accelerate their improvement efforts by applying the features of the tool kit. To utilize this toolkit, the DA Browser is located on a public URL and provides accessible features. It will enable users and learners to view and choose process goals and options during any project phase.
While the DA Browser does not allow the user to document a selection on-screen, it enables them to easily search for and read hundreds of agile, lean, and serial techniques.

Competitive Analysis #
Since the creation and inception of Disciplined Agile in 2009, no competitive alternative currently exists for a similar product.
Consumer competition for a similar Disciplined Agile Product is potentially limited to confidential proprietary software with coaching at an organizational level. Current knowledge of a product like this is unknown.
No cost will be associated with the release or use of this product. The Project Management Institute (PMI) has an advantage since it provides industry-standard Disciplined Agile certificates. Therefore, users are more likely to use this product since it originates with PMI.
This product fills a gap, allowing the user—specifically a student—to utilize a digital version of these process goals and options. The user must use the static text in the “Choose Your WoW” book as an alternative.
High-Level Capabilities #
The DA Browser must contain the following capabilities:
- A complete list of process goals and each of the options.
- Additional information for each process goal links the user to the PMI website information.
- Other resources for the goal options within those process goals allow the user to read more.
- Export as an image option for the process goals.
- Users can search for keywords.
Metrics Strategy #
Manual metrics are used to measure success, captured through human intervention—precisely, a survey asking the user about their experience with the product.
This method reasonably fits qualitative measures and provides a historical view for each iteration, which is ideal for this no-cost product.
